Icknield High School, a larger-than-average UK secondary academy with 154 employees and 1,458 students, needed full control of its network to expand BYOD and support remote work after finding its previous Palo Alto firewall was co-managed by its ISP. The school engaged SonicWall and moved to SonicWall NSa 3650 NGFWs with Capture ATP to gain the management access and advanced threat protection it required.

SonicWall deployed two NSa 3650 appliances in a Stateful High-Availability configuration with Capture ATP and SonicWall Global VPN, giving the school full administrative control, cost-efficient license-synced redundancy, and secure remote access. As a result, Icknield High School now relies exclusively on SonicWall Global VPN for remote access, benefits from near-zero downtime and real-time updates without after-hours restarts, and reports strong vendor support and improved protection from advanced threats.
