HealthLink, a New Zealand health system integrator that moves more than 100 million clinical messages annually between over 30,000 healthcare practitioners, needed a secure, highly reliable network to replace paper-based communication and keep patient records flowing 24/7. To meet that challenge HealthLink turned to SonicWall, deploying appliances including SonicWall NSA 4600s and SonicWall SOHO solutions for doctors, specialists, pharmacies and hospitals.

SonicWall installed four NSA 4600 firewalls (two in Auckland, two in Hamilton) and supplied a range of SonicWall devices to HealthLink’s clients, delivering continuous uptime, remote access and stronger security. The result: HealthLink’s infrastructure reliably supports nationwide message transmission, clients can monitor security and run daily/weekly/monthly reports, and the SonicWall solution has proven simple, flexible and effective for diverse customer needs.
