Promise Healthcare, one of the largest long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital organizations in the United States, needed to strengthen network security and achieve HIPAA compliance without degrading performance. SonicWall replaced Promise Healthcare’s legacy firewalls and deployed its gateway security, content filtering and centralized management tools, giving the hospital deeper inspection (IPS, SSL decryption, gateway AV), visibility and control over network use. The SonicWall implementation delivered HIPAA-compliant protection, blocked dangerous websites, and improved application access—boosting system performance by 35 percent.
