Hall County Schools future-proofs IT infrastructure and saves up to 50% in costs

Hall County Schools, a large public school district in Georgia supporting thousands of students and staff, faced ineffective web content filtering, outdated firewall technology, and the need to consolidate multiple point solutions while scaling for a BYOD environment and maintaining CIPA compliance. The district chose SonicWall and deployed the SuperMassive E10400 Next‑Generation Firewall, Aventail EX9000 Secure Remote Access, SonicWall Content Filtering Service and Application Intelligence and Control to address these challenges.

SonicWall implemented the SuperMassive E10400 in high‑availability along with the Aventail EX9000 and integrated filtering and app control, giving the district real‑time traffic scanning, clientless secure remote access, application visibility/prioritization and high‑performance multi‑core throughput. The rollout consolidated appliances (eliminating a separate filtering server and three point solutions), reduced network administration overhead, scaled to support thousands of concurrent devices and delivered measurable savings—Hall County Schools reports up to 50% in cost reductions.
