A SonicWall Case Study
Adyar Ananda Bhavan, a global restaurant chain with ~12,000 employees and branches across multiple countries, needed to centralize security administration after each location managed its own firewalls, leading to inconsistent policies, rising costs, and inefficient network administration. SonicWall — leveraging SonicWall firewalls with built-in SD-WAN, Network Security Manager (NSM) and endpoint controls — was chosen to simplify SD‑WAN deployments and unify security operations.
SonicWall implemented SD‑WAN-capable firewalls integrated with NSM to replace expensive MPLS links, centralize orchestration and policy management, and unify threat mitigation across all sites. The SonicWall solution reduced administrative overhead and TCO, strengthened real‑time threat protection, and improved overall availability from 80% to 99.5%, while enabling centralized monitoring and consistent security enforcement.
