Foster Clark Products, a Malta-based food & beverage company, faced the challenge of safeguarding its production, management and administrative IT systems from evolving internet security threats and needed next-generation firewall (NGFW) capabilities for a firewall upgrade. To address this, they turned to SonicWall and adopted SonicWall Capture Advanced Threat Protection (Capture ATP) along with SonicWall’s DPI-SSL functionality.

SonicWall implemented Capture ATP sandboxing with a “Block Until Verdict” policy and enabled DPI-SSL across all firewall security services, allowing files to be verified (typically in seconds) before access, producing detailed reports for follow-up, and enabling inspection of more than two thirds of the company’s HTTPS traffic. As a result, Foster Clark Products gained improved threat visibility and content filtering, with all packets scanned for malicious content and no noticeable negative impact on day-to-day operations, delivering greater security and operational confidence.
