Blue Tomato, a leading European retailer with 55 stores and headquarters in Schladming and Graz, faced a network-security refresh to protect its two HQs, link all stores to headquarters via reliable VPN, provide safe public WLAN in stores, and enable secure home‑office access. Blue Tomato turned to SonicWall, leveraging its TZ Series (with Secure Upgrade Plus Advanced), TZ HA appliances, NSa series firewalls, SonicWall Network Security Manager and the SonicWall NetExtender SSL VPN client.

SonicWall deployed TZ and NSa appliances in high‑availability clusters, centralized management with Network Security Manager, and NetExtender for remote staff, delivering a fast, low‑maintenance rollout across all 55 stores and HQs. The SonicWall solution provided Europe‑wide IT security with very high reliability, secure in‑shop WLAN and VPN connections for store and home‑office employees, reduced administrative effort and minimal downtime.
