EnergoBit, a Romania-based electrical solutions provider with 500+ employees and a nationwide footprint of a HQ, seven main subsidiaries and multiple offices, needed an upgraded communications infrastructure, a unified security policy, faster data traffic and secure channels between locations while centralizing data access. They engaged SonicWall and its security platform (including SonicWall NSA and TZ series and SonicWall Global Management System) to address these challenges.

SonicWall deployed a new communication network connecting almost 700 devices to EnergoBit’s VPNs, implemented multi-path internet over two providers, on-premises servers, virtual machines and a 10 GbE LAN to enable remote access and centralized data. The SonicWall solution delivered higher data transfer speeds, improved security, near-100% network uptime, better scalability and an ROI in less than 2.5 years.
