Contigo Technology, a small Austin-based computer services firm, needed to optimize network security while lowering total cost of ownership, consolidate security and networking features, and improve scalability and support. After evaluating Meraki and Fortinet, Contigo selected SonicWall’s Gen 7 TZ series (TZ270/370/470) firewall appliances to meet those requirements.

SonicWall deployed the TZ firewalls as perimeter security and remote access devices for Contigo’s customers, providing Gateway AV, IPS, Application Control, content filtering and a robust management interface. The SonicWall solution delivered better speed and functionality for the price, maintained fast internet throughput while consolidating necessary security services, and improved overall support and scalability for Contigo Technology.
