Church of the Highlands secures services

Church of the Highlands, a U.S. church with 175 employees that broadcasts live across distributed campuses to 26,000 people weekly and supports over 4,000 active connections, needed to minimize the risk of malicious attacks and protect personal information without degrading performance. To address this, the church turned to SonicWall and deployed SonicWall TZ, NSA and SuperMassive Series firewalls along with the SonicWall Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite and SonicWall Content Filtering Service.

SonicWall’s solution secured wired, wireless and distributed networks, blocked viruses, hacking and denial-of-service attacks, and filtered inappropriate web content while enabling large blocks of HD video to move between sites with no performance hit. As a result, Church of the Highlands maintained high-performance live broadcasts and connectivity for 26,000 weekly attendees and 4,000+ connections, with IT lead Shane Hamlin saying SonicWall consistently stops attacks and provides peace of mind.
