A SonicWall Case Study
CD Projekt Red, the Warsaw‑headquartered video game developer with more than 500 employees and offices in Cracow and Los Angeles, needed to consolidate and strengthen security across a growing, distributed and virtualized network. The IT team required a single, cost‑effective next‑generation firewall platform that combined app control, bandwidth management, content filtering, gateway antivirus and intrusion prevention without degrading network performance — a challenge they addressed with SonicWall.
SonicWall deployed high‑performance next‑generation firewalls (SuperMassive 9400 clusters in active/standby at Warsaw and HA pairs of NSA 3600s in Cracow), Secure Mobile Access virtual appliances and the SonicWall Global Management System for centralized control. The SonicWall solution consolidated multiple security services into one manageable platform, protecting over 500 users and 900 devices while improving bandwidth optimization, enabling secure remote access, simplifying administration and delivering enterprise‑grade protection with fast, uninterrupted connectivity.
