Cal-Maine Foods, Inc., the largest producer and marketer of shell eggs in the U.S., needed to harden its network perimeters and provide secure remote access via SSL VPN. To address these challenges the company engaged SonicWall and standardized on SonicWall security and access solutions.

SonicWall deployed NSA and TZ Series firewalls, the Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite, Secure Mobile Access (SMA), SonicPoint wireless access points and Global Management System (GMS). Consolidating on a uniform SonicWall platform lowered total cost of ownership, provided secure connectivity across 36 locations in 12 states, and delivered application intelligence and regulatory reporting; SMA alone saves the company thousands of dollars per month versus leasing dedicated circuits.
