Case Study: Air Works achieves rapid cloud adoption and 20x latency reduction with SonicWall

A SonicWall Case Study

Preview of the Air Works Case Study

Business continues to fly with better data protection and performance

Air Works, an 850-employee aerospace and defense MRO provider in India, needed a next-generation firewall to secure data as it rapidly adopted cloud IT, meet a critical application latency target (around 350 milliseconds), and provide full redundancy and scalability. After evaluating vendors and building on prior use of SonicWall appliances, Air Works selected SonicWall’s SuperMassive 9400 Next-Generation Firewall (deployed in an active/active cluster) and SonicWall Global Support Services.

SonicWall implemented the SuperMassive 9400 in an active/active, high-availability cluster with deep packet inspection and application control, delivering stronger threat protection, automatic failover, and scalable throughput. The SonicWall solution reduced network latency by 20× to under 50 milliseconds, maximized uptime across 45+ locations, improved employee productivity, and enabled rapid, secure adoption of Air Works’ cloud platform.
