Boundless Security for Sensitive Patient Data

radiomedicum, a German radiology and nuclear medicine practice with 13 locations and about 100 staff, faced the challenge of protecting sensitive patient data and ensuring secure, highly available connections between sites and external partners. To meet these requirements they turned to SonicWall, deploying SonicWall appliances and services including TZ (TZ370/TZ300) and NSa (NSa 2700, NSa 3700) firewalls along with Capture ATP.

SonicWall upgraded and standardized radiomedicum’s network, establishing secure VPN links across all 13 sites, implementing network segmentation for medical devices, and adding gateway antivirus and intrusion prevention plus Global VPN Client support for home offices. The SonicWall solution enabled quick, easy deployment of secure VPN connections to all sites, improved protection of patient data, delivered stable high-availability connections, and ensured secure access to medical devices.
