Kardiologie Innenstadt, a 16-employee cardiology practice in Munich, faced strict IT security and data-protection requirements for sensitive patient records, plus the need for centralized management, reliable on-site and home-office connectivity, and secure guest Wi‑Fi. SonicWall, together with partner tbs Computer‑Systeme GmbH, was selected to deliver a compliant, enterprise-grade cybersecurity and networking solution.

SonicWall deployed a TZ370 firewall, two SonicWave access points and a comprehensive Advanced Service Package (including Gateway Anti‑Virus/Anti‑Spyware, Content Filter, DPI‑SSL and Capture ATP) to protect the network and enable secure VPN access. The result is stable VPN and site networking, seamless integration of remote staff, secure patient/guest Wi‑Fi and no security incidents to date—leaving the practice well prepared for regulatory IT guidelines and reliable for telematics and lab-data exchange.
