Bolton College eases management with a next-generation firewall

Bolton College, a UK higher education institution with about 15,400 staff/students, needed to replace an aging Cisco PIX firewall with a future‑proof next‑generation firewall to reduce overhead and simplify management. The college selected SonicWall and deployed the SonicWall E‑Class Network Security Appliance E8500 (NSA E8500) as its replacement.
