A SonicWall Case Study
Celtic Manor Resort, a U.K. hospitality and events venue, needed to overhaul its IT infrastructure ahead of a high-profile NATO conference and to meet stringent security requirements, including accommodating the U.S. President. The resort engaged SonicWall and selected a virtualised end-to-end SonicWall solution (including the SonicWall NSA Series) to modernize servers, storage, networking and network security.
SonicWall implemented a virtualized stack of servers, storage, networking and network security appliances, delivering secure, uninterrupted service during the NATO event. The deployment produced about £67,000 a year in combined savings—£10,000 in hardware, £38,000 in energy, and £19,000 in third‑party support—while cutting IT management time by 20 hours per week.
