Indiana University Health, Indiana’s largest health care system, was using an aging refrigerator temperature monitoring setup centered on a single privately owned server. That left off-site facilities with limited access to data and support, and the entire program depended on one server with little backup capability. Sonicu’s Temperature Monitoring Program was brought in to address these reliability, scalability, and compliance challenges.

Sonicu implemented a cloud-based, single-source temperature monitoring solution with digital sensors, glycol-buffered probes, real-time cloud reporting, and customizable alarms delivered by text, email, or phone. The result was the elimination of manual temperature logging, automated reporting, stronger regulatory compliance, and improved efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. Sonicu also gave IU Health multi-site backup and scalability to support future expansion.
