Hendricks Regional Health, a full-service regional health system in Central Indiana, wanted a better way to manage diverse monitoring and logging needs across multiple departments and locations. To reduce manual work, limit errors, and improve patient safety and comfort, the health system turned to Sonicu’s system-wide enterprise monitoring solution, including sound monitoring in patient areas.

Sonicu implemented wireless temperature, humidity, air pressure, and sound sensors to automatically monitor 700 points across Hendricks Regional Health, with data and alarms sent to a cloud-based platform accessible from any internet-connected device. The solution eliminated about 5,000 labor hours previously spent on manual monitoring and logging, improved 24/7/365 alarming and reporting, and added tools for faster documentation and easier recalibration management.
