SonarSource’s SonarQube Server was selected for its support for multiple programming languages, Microsoft Azure DevOps Server build integration, IDE integration, unit test coverage support, and security and scalability. Siemens now uses it for C/C++ and C# projects, with results from Visual Studio Test Platform and NUnit appearing in a unified dashboard. The company says the platform has provided consistent reporting, a shorter learning curve, and the ability to analyze legacy code and customized build tools.
