StudySoup, an online marketplace for students to buy and sell class notes and study guides, needed a more scalable and cost-effective way to convert prospects into customers. Using Sonar’s API, campaigns, and messaging interface, StudySoup automated two-way SMS outreach across its funnel, from form fill to training reminders to note uploads. The results were strong: StudySoup increased engagement from 20% to 70%, qualified and converted 4x more prospects with fewer resources, and handled 14,632 conversations in one month while scaling support more efficiently.
