A Solvoyo Case Study
DeFacto, a prominent Turkish fashion retailer operating in over 50 countries, faced significant challenges in managing inventory across its fast-growing network of 650+ stores. Their processes were disconnected and required larger teams to handle the complexity of new store openings, new warehouses, and geographical differences in product preferences. They partnered with supply chain solutions vendor Solvoyo to automate their initial allocation, replenishment, and store-to-store transfer processes, aiming to eliminate human dependency and reduce lost sales.
Solvoyo implemented its cloud-based platform, hosted on AWS, to provide autonomous, AI-driven planning. The solution automated daily recommendations for allocation and replenishment, which were seamlessly integrated into DeFacto's systems. As a result, DeFacto achieved a 20% headcount reduction in its allocation team despite expanding to 50 countries, with a 90% user acceptance rate of the daily recommendations provided by Solvoyo. The platform also delivered over 150 million weekly recommendations, helping to significantly increase sales and reduce ending inventory.
