A Solvoyo Case Study
DeFacto, a fast-fashion apparel retailer operating across 11+ countries, faced rising inventory costs and margin erosion because demand and replenishment were managed with legacy tools, Excel and a home-grown algorithm. These manual processes led to mis‑deployments, stock‑outs and aggressive markdowns. To address this, DeFacto engaged Solvoyo to provide prescriptive analytics and daily planning via its cloud-based multi-tenant platform for demand planning, replenishment planning, markdown optimization and supply chain visibility.
Solvoyo implemented an integrated solution that segmented products into Fast‑fashion and Fashion‑basics, used multi-year POS and promotion history to forecast lifecycle demand, optimized store allocations to maximize network revenue, and automated store replenishment and store‑to‑store transfers while integrating with DeFacto’s on‑prem systems. The platform went live in five months and runs periodic redeployment plans; since launch Solvoyo’s solution delivered $7M in additional revenue from transfers, cut stock-outs by 24% and raised shelf availability to 85%.
