Solvice helped Zoolyx, the first private veterinary laboratory in Belgium, improve real-time dispatching of blood sample pickups. Zoolyx needed to handle pickup requests around the clock while meeting a strict service-level agreement: any request received before noon had to be collected before 5 pm, with some jobs already assigned to specific drivers and regional preferences still influencing planning.

To address this, Solvice analyzed Zoolyx’s planning process and integrated its ERP system with the OnRoute route optimization engine. Every five minutes, the system rerouted drivers based on new information and only sent each driver their next job, enabling more agile same-day planning, faster handling of new orders, and significant time savings for dispatchers compared with manual scheduling.
