Bring Frigo simplifies their Budget Process with Solver

Bring Frigo is a Nordic logistics business with more than 2,000 employees and over $1 billion in revenue. After moving to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, its budgeting remained decentralized in dozens of locally maintained Excel models, which made the process slow, error-prone and hard to control. Bring Frigo therefore needed an easy Excel-based interface, reuse of existing budget logic, and strict version control—yet had only three months to get a new system in place.

Bring Frigo’s partner DecidoKompetensor implemented Solver, an Excel-fronted budgeting and reporting solution that integrates with NAV and stores data centrally in SQL Server, replacing dozens of hardcoded spreadsheets with single templates and automated feeds (payroll, production). The result: a much faster, more secure budgeting cycle with one-button consolidation, improved visibility and control for controllers, positive user feedback, and a rollout expanded to multiple companies and countries with plans to add forecasting.
