Adams Land & Cattle streamlines and expands reporting abilities using the Solver Data Warehouse

Adams Land & Cattle, a Nebraska-based leader in cattle feeding and agribusiness known for innovation and operational excellence, needed better financial reporting after moving from Sage 500 to Sage X3. The native X3 reporting was insufficient for their needs, so they sought a business-user friendly, self-service BI solution to consolidate diverse data sources and produce custom general ledger and sub-ledger analytics.

They implemented the Solver Data Warehouse, a Microsoft SQL Server–based, Excel-friendly reporting and planning system, and worked with Solver to load GL, fixed asset, payroll and cattle data while receiving hands-on training. The implementation created a single source of truth that eliminated linked spreadsheets, enabled budget-to-actual and forecasting models, expanded reporting and analytics capabilities, and improved insight into the company’s financial health for better decision-making.
