Eye Associates of Colorado, a growing multi-location ophthalmology practice with eight doctors, was struggling to manage rising patient volume (30–60 patients per day per doctor), time-consuming manual appointment confirmations, missed appointments, and a lack of efficient patient feedback collection. To address these challenges the practice implemented Solutionreach’s cloud-based patient relationship management software in 2015.
Solutionreach automated reminders and confirmations by leveraging each patient’s communication preferences, integrated with the EMR/PM to instantly update the scheduler, and enabled customizable post-visit surveys. The Solutionreach implementation reduced no-shows, saved substantial staff time by replacing hundreds of manual calls, produced strong patient engagement (20–30 survey responses per day), and included monthly vendor support to ensure the practice maximized the system’s benefits.
