Qualica Integrates Time Machine® into Its Fintech SaaS Offering to Enable Temporal Testing

Qualica is a South-African fintech software company offering a cloud-native bancX SaaS platform for banks and lenders. Facing the need to validate date- and time-sensitive functionality across hundreds of microservice containers in an OpenShift environment before launch and customer integrations, Qualica engaged Solution-Soft and its Time Machine product to provide reliable temporal testing.

Solution-Soft implemented Time Machine, a virtual clock solution delivered as an operator/pod that enables time travel across containers without modifying container images, supported by Sync Server and floating license management for automated, on-demand deployment. The solution allowed Qualica to shift hundreds of containers to specific time points simultaneously, simplifying and speeding validation, reducing testing complexity, and ensuring time-based features are verified before go-live; Qualica now uses Time Machine in development and bundles it with their SaaS for customer testing.
