New Age Solutions, a division of Axios Holding, runs HRZN, a B2B iGaming platform handling about five million business transactions per day. As the company planned for future growth, it needed to modernize its stack from Docker Swarm and Kong to a Kubernetes-based architecture that could better support scale and fit the broader Kubernetes ecosystem. Solo.io’s Gloo API gateway was identified as a stronger fit for the platform’s evolving needs.

Solo.io helped New Age Solutions migrate to Kubernetes and adopt Gloo as its new API gateway, using a Kubernetes-native architecture with strong routing capabilities and community support. The platform now runs across seven Kubernetes clusters with AWS EC2, kops, Confluent, Prometheus, Grafana, and custom auth and ChatOps integrations. The result is a more scalable foundation for the business, with the company planning to grow traffic by more than 5X while also positioning itself for future service mesh and WebAssembly adoption.
