Miami Beach increases tourism and visitor satisfaction through accessible technology

Seminole County, one of Florida’s fastest-growing counties, needed a modern, mobile-responsive website and a low-code/no-code platform to let communications staff manage news, events, media and interactive services (from library cards to business grants), while meeting ADA accessibility and rapid emergency‑response requirements. To address this, Seminole County selected Solodev and its Solodev CMS/Platform (with DigitalUs professional services) to build a flexible site hosted on AWS.

Solodev implemented the new site on the Solodev Platform with custom modules, inline editing, an emergency alert banner and ADA features, backed by AWS infrastructure and 24x7 support. The result: uptime improved from ~94% to 99.97%, the site can scale to 100,000 concurrent users, survived Hurricane Irma without downtime, and supports automated “dark site” emergency messaging—giving Seminole County faster content control and reliable public communications.
