TIBCO Chooses Solix for Enterprise Database Archiving

TIBCO Software, a provider of enterprise software for SOA and BPM, was dealing with growing Oracle Financials data that was slowing order entry, accounts receivable, and reporting while also increasing the cost and complexity of test, development, and disaster recovery copies. To address this, TIBCO chose Solix Technologies and its Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite (Solix EDMS) for Oracle database archiving.

Solix Technologies implemented automated archiving and purging of historical data from Oracle Financials, which reduced the size of TIBCO’s production database, improved manageability, and kept data growth in check. The result was lower storage and data maintenance costs, faster clones and reporting, and better overall system performance, helping TIBCO reduce risk during migration and move to Linux.
