Solix Meets Forbes Marshall’s Application Performance and Data Replication Requirements

Forbes Marshall, a provider of energy, efficiency, and process automation solutions, was facing rapid growth in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i transaction data that was slowing application performance and creating heavy IT effort for test and development copies. The company turned to Solix Technologies and its Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite (EDMS) to help manage database growth and improve ERP efficiency.

Solix Technologies implemented EDMS to automate archiving and purging of historical data across sixteen Oracle E-Business Suite modules, while also creating rapid and secure subsets for test and development. As a result, Forbes Marshall saw significant improvements in application performance, higher DBA productivity, and faster backup and recovery, while also speeding up the creation of smaller non-production instances.
