Kamstrup faced the challenge of integrating its systems with Ørsted (specifically its daughter company Radius) to coordinate the massive logistical rollout of approximately one million new remotely readable electricity meters. This required a robust integration solution to synchronize installations and data flow, as around 2,000 meters were being installed daily. Kamstrup partnered with vendor Solita to develop this large-scale solution on the MuleSoft platform.

Solita delivered a comprehensive integration solution, including a logistic system for installers and a reporting portal to ensure accurate data exchange. The business-critical system runs with 24/7 support from Solita. As a result, Ørsted's Radius now automatically receives consumption data from one million meters, enabling faster reaction to grid changes and eliminating manual meter readings for consumers.
