The customer, Posti, faced a major challenge in its business transformation as its corporate customer data was scattered across multiple disconnected systems and Excel files. This made data retrieval slow and difficult, severely hampering efficiency. To modernize and place the customer at the center of its business, Posti partnered with vendor Solita to improve data availability and quality, with a focus on corporate customer master data.
Solita implemented a Master Data Management (MDM) solution using the Semarchy xDM platform on Microsoft Azure, which included building a Customer Data Platform (CDP). This centralized data management and introduced automation. The most tangible result was the radical acceleration of new corporate customer onboarding, reducing the process from one week to mere minutes. Solita's solution also improved data transparency, quality, and reliability, reduced manual labor, and enhanced Posti's overall customer insight and service.
