The Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (HSL) faced the challenge of modernizing its outdated and complicated digital services platform. Their old website had reached its end of life, and they needed to adopt new cloud technologies and a headless architecture to improve the customer experience and support strategic goals for sustainable transport. Partnering with Solita, the project utilized the Optimizely CMS to bring all mobility services under one roof.

Solita implemented a new website with a headless architecture on Microsoft Azure, integrating key services like the city bike system and the Reittiopas journey planner. The solution significantly improved the customer experience, reduced manual workloads, and won the Grand One award for best website. The results include over two million monthly visits to the stable and reliable hsl.fi, which now provides a personalized, all-in-one service for over one million daily journeys.
