Johnson & Quin Adds Rubika® to Existing Solimar Solution Suite

Johnson & Quin, a long-established service bureau, faced an inefficient and error-prone workflow for reproducing damaged mailpieces. Their existing process required multiple departments and was especially disruptive when handling spoilage for current campaigns while preparing new ones. To modernize this reprint workflow and improve data integrity, they turned to their existing vendor, Solimar Systems, to implement the Rubika product alongside their Solimar Print Director Enterprise (SPDE) system.

Solimar Systems' solution used Rubika to select PDF ranges for spoiled pages directly on the production floor, eliminating the need to recompose documents and removing the IT department from the workflow. This implementation resulted in a 90% reduction in processing time and a 15% savings in IT labor costs for spoilage workflows. The automation provided by Solimar's products increased efficiency and provided greater peace of mind that reprinted pieces were accurate.
