Tucker Torpedo turned to Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS to help recreate the classic Tucker Torpedo car with CAD. The project’s challenge was to translate a historic vehicle design into a working, buildable prototype while coordinating complex body, chassis, and interior details.

Using SOLIDWORKS, the team modeled key components such as the body, chassis integration, seat turntable, and steering wheel, helping guide fabrication and assembly. Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS supported the milestone of mounting the body to the chassis, progressing the car toward a finished, operational vehicle and enabling an unofficial public unveiling at the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA.
