BattleBots Team SawBlaze turned to SolidWorks to rapidly design and iterate its signature SawBlaze battling robot for the BattleBots TV series, facing the challenge of developing cost‑effective, competitive machines (including an overhead saw and flamethrower) on very tight timelines. Using SolidWorks PCB, Visualize, CAD and PDM, Team SawBlaze developed a sensor board in under a week that converted a sensorless brushless motor into a sensor‑equipped unit, reducing motor spin‑up time by 60%.
