Tigercat Industries, a full‑range Canadian forestry equipment manufacturer, needed to accelerate product development, reduce documentation costs, and improve design collaboration and reuse across multiple plants that were accessing separate development servers. After realizing time and cost savings with SolidWorks CAD and SolidWorks Simulation, Tigercat implemented SolidWorks Enterprise PDM to address these challenges.

SolidWorks deployed SolidWorks Enterprise PDM (200 seats) to centralize the vault, automate and standardize workflows, and give cross‑departmental access to design data. The solution delivered tighter revision control, increased engineering speed and flexibility, eliminated costly paper documentation, improved collaboration across facilities and functions, and allowed Tigercat to manage several hundred thousand design archives more efficiently.
