LED iBond, a Danish lighting company that designs patented ultra‑thin LED fixtures, needed to maximize light output in minimal space while speeding design decisions, manufacturing and collaboration with subcontractors and new hires. To meet those challenges it adopted SolidWorks (including SOLIDWORKS Composer) to move its calculations and blueprints into a 3D environment.

Using SolidWorks for CAD and SOLIDWORKS Composer for photorealistic visuals, the vendor enabled LED iBond to make faster material and design decisions at millimetre precision, share detailed images with clients and manufacturers, and onboard engineers more quickly. The result was a significant reduction in design and manufacturing time and a lower likelihood of production errors—saving both time and cost for LED iBond.
