Mustad Longline standardized on SolidWorks Professional for design plus SolidWorks Enterprise PDM and SolidWorks Composer (and leveraged SolidWorks Simulation) to manage data, automate documentation, and validate designs. The SolidWorks solution delivered an 80% productivity increase—four engineers now do the work that previously required 20—eliminated many design errors, streamlined service manual production, enabled greater design reuse and revision control, and supported new products such as the Select Fish System for smaller vessels.
