With SolidWorks, SawStop cut design time by 20%, reduced prototype costs through integrated FEA analysis, and improved marketing with photorealistic rendering and animation—helping commercial table saw sales double year over year. SolidWorks’ surfacing, mold-development and simulation tools enabled SawStop to produce complex parts (such as a clear curved blade guard), minimize material and prototyping waste, and speed product launches.
