Endiatx Builds Advanced Micro-robotics with SOLIDWORKS

Endiatx, a Silicon Valley medical technology startup, set out to reinvent endoscopy with a tiny, motorized pill-shaped robot called PillBot. The challenge was to miniaturize a complex medical device into a 13 x 30 mm form factor while making diagnostics less invasive and more accessible, all while speeding the path from design to manufacturing. SOLIDWORKS CAD and Flow Simulation were used to support this effort.

Using SOLIDWORKS, Endiatx accelerated design iteration, prototyping, redesign, and preparation for manufacturing by simulating and refining propeller and lumen configurations before live testing. The result was a faster design-to-manufacturing process, lower prototyping costs, improved efficiency, and a more seamless transition from concept to production. SOLIDWORKS helped Endiatx virtually validate the product and move toward market-ready micro-robotics more efficiently.
