Boosting distillery equipment development with SOLIDWORKS® and Smooth Logics Solutions

Corson Distilling Systems faced rapidly growing demand from the craft distillery market and needed to increase throughput of its custom, engineered‑to‑order distillery systems. To automate design and production and shorten order‑to‑delivery cycles, the company implemented SolidWorks Premium 3D design and analysis software alongside the COUNTERPART ERP solution from Smooth Logics.

By integrating SolidWorks with COUNTERPART and SOLIDWORKS PDM, Corson automated configuration with equations, synchronized parts and drawings with procurement and manufacturing, and reduced manual drafting.
