Accelerating Custom Adventure Van Conversions with 3DEXPERIENCE Works and Delmia Machining Solutions

Highland Vans, a US-based adventure camper conversion company, needed to shorten development and production cycles, reduce errors, and cut delivery times by improving collaboration, design visualization, automating production, and advancing nesting capabilities. To meet these goals they adopted SolidWorks solutions—leveraging 3DEXPERIENCE Works (including 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Premium and Visualize) together with DELMIA Machining/CAM tools.

Using SolidWorks’ 3DEXPERIENCE Works and DELMIA Machining, Highland Vans moved design to the cloud for tighter collaborative CAD workflows and automated CNC programming and nesting. The implementation shortened design and production cycles, reduced design errors and scrap, improved customer visualization, and cut nesting time from four hours to just 10 minutes, driving faster deliveries and lower costs.
