Radio Free Asia (RFA) needed to eliminate storage bottlenecks in its VMware-based private cloud so it could support demanding financial workloads like Microsoft SQL, Exchange, and transaction-processing applications with consistent, millisecond-level performance. Its conventional storage system was creating noisy-neighbor issues, limiting scalability, and driving up costs as demand grew.

SolidFire implemented a five-node SF3010 all-flash cluster with QoS, scale-out architecture, and deep VMware integration to guarantee predictable performance and high availability for RFA’s cloud customers.
