ezVerify, the healthcare insurance-verification platform from Automated HealthCare Solutions, needed a storage infrastructure that could deliver consistent, high-performance access across multiple databases and environments while meeting strict security and uptime requirements. The company turned to SolidFire and its SF3010 all-flash storage to support real-time verification for more than 10,000 insurance carriers in under six seconds per patient.

SolidFire implemented a scale-out, high-availability storage solution with guaranteed QoS, in-line deduplication, VMware integration, and encryption at rest. As a result, ezVerify consolidated its MS SQL, development, staging, demo, and production environments onto one cluster, improved ETL and import/export times by more than 4.5x, cut backup and processing jobs from hours to minutes, and reduced power and cooling costs by 4x, with storage power dropping from about 60 amps to 20 and monthly costs from $1,600 to $400.
