Solidatus for Workload Automation: Tier1 Global Investment Bank

Global Investment Bank worked with Solidatus to tackle a major workload automation challenge while centralising its derivative trading hardware and software into London. The bank needed to merge multiple region-specific daily batches into a single global 24x6 batch, but the process involved thousands of commands, tens of thousands of dependencies, and a Control-M upgrade, making Excel-based redesigns too risky and hard to manage.

Solidatus built a Control-M parser and translator to ingest existing XML batch structures, store them in the Solidatus repository, and export them back to Control-M. With Solidatus’ visualisation, editing, filtering, and audit capabilities, the bank reduced effort by 65% and gained a fully versioned, controlled, and audited batch XML repository, improving governance, historical analysis, and change control.
