University of Bath equips 1,000 engineering students with Solid Edge

The University of Bath, a leading UK university, sought to provide its engineering students with real-world design experience and a strong foundation in mainstream engineering solutions. Solid Edge provided an individual copy of its software for each of the university's 1,000 engineering students. The solution was immediately integrated into the curriculum, with first-year students using it for their initial design-and-make project. Solid Edge enabled students to quickly experience the benefits of professional design tools, with its Engineering Reference tools noted as particularly useful for generating basic components and entering engineering properties.
