Rotational plastic molding firm uses Solid Edge to attract new business with significantly improved communication

Polyduct Zrt., a rotational plastic molding firm in Nádudvar, Hungary, needed to improve communication between design and production, speed product development, create better presentation materials for customer meetings, and expand its international presence. To address these challenges the company adopted Solid Edge software from Siemens Digital Industries Software as its primary 3D CAD tool.

By integrating Solid Edge into daily processes, Polyduct used 3D models and CAD data as the base for internal and customer communication, produced DXF drawings for flattened sheet metal parts for its water-jet machine, and generated photorealistic renderings for stronger presentations. Solid Edge helped Polyduct win new business, noticeably accelerate product development turnaround, and improve collaboration between engineering and production — with additional training and technical support provided by the Enterprise Group.
